Some of you may remember the wonderful Intention Cookies that Terry & Mary brought to our Thanksgiving Potluck. Here's their request:
We’re reaching out to fellow vegans to share our story and our progress in the hopes that you can share our story with others and we can find the help we need.
We make Intention Cookies which have proven to be the cookies non-vegans choose over their non-vegan cookies. We have been successful in making a number of strategic store placements for the cookies. This has led to a need to increase production. For that we need to raise $10,000. At the recommendation of the Small Business Administration, we are putting the word out to everyone we can think of. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us reach our goal.

Please follow this link and donate whatever you will. It will be greatly appreciated. Pass this on to your friends. Help us get the word out to everyone.
We thank you for your kindness and generosity.

being fully alive...
“As long as there is conscious life on Earth, there will be suffering. The question becomes what to do with the existence each of us is given. We can choose to add our own fury and misery to the rest, or we can set an example by simultaneously working constructively to alleviate suffering while leading joyous, meaningful, fulfilled lives. Being a vegan isn't about deprivation or anger. It's about being fully aware so as to be fully alive.”
—Matt Ball, Vegan Outreach
a chance to be...
“I know in my soul that to eat a creature who is raised to be eaten, and who never has a chance to be a real being, is unhealthy...You're just eating misery.”
—Alice Walker
windows...
“If slaughterhouses had windows, everyone would be a vegan.”
—Sir Paul McCartney
